Brain DevelopmentActivities
All parents want their children to develop healthy and intelligent brains. A well-developed brain can tremendously aid children in understanding complex subjects later in life. So the question arises; what are brain development activities? Brain development activities can be any activities that challenge the children's brain to adapt to new situations.
Some common activities that fall under this category are conversation, memorization, reasoning, and, most importantly, having fun. Little children are always excited about fun activities, be it playing with friends, building pillow forts, or even roleplaying.

Fruit Fact
When choosing fruit for a snack, play a guessing game. "Is this orange sweet or sour?" "Is this apple crispy or mushy?" Use words that your child may not yet understand, and ask them to use their own words to describe their thoughts. Later, when you eat the fruit, talk about their guesses. By using new words and asking questions, you help your child develop vocabulary and reasoning skills.
Beat and Repeat
Create a beat with a combination of two claps and make your child repeat it. Can your child copy it correctly? Have your child create a new rhythm with two claps. Whenever a beat is missing, try again. Then do three beats. How many beats can you teach your child? Four? Five? This fun activity can be done anytime, anywhere! When your kids copy your patterns and create their own, they develop self-control and learn from their mistakes!
